Hello,

My name is Faustina Lina Yeboah. I am a second year Master of Geospatial Information Science Student at the University of Gävle, Sweden.

In school I am taking a course in GIS Organizations and Project Management where all students are required to write a short report on a GIS establishment, the functionality of the GIS platform as well as existing management practices.

I would like to know if it would be possible to focus on the work of the Land use and Spatial Planning Authority for my report. I must categorically state that this is not a request for an internship. I only require a few meetings (virtual) whereby I can learn about the work you do and how you do it. I hope you can give me this opportunity.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Lina

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this message finds you well. Please, I want to find out if there is any GIS job vacancy or internship opportunity available. I am a master student in MSC Applied GIS and Remote Sensing and will be delighted in working with this organisation. I am always available to help in analysing geospatial data to inform appropriate decision making and intervention.

Thanks and regards

We are very frustrated with the Development approval process. Can a department be referred to as The Secretarial and still subject its work to scrutiny by another department?. Is the Authority saying Town Planning cannot access drawing with its Technical staff unless it is presented to Works Department? And why should a Town Planner circulate drawings to Works Department before and even after a meeting for assessment? What is the role of the Technical subcommittee? These issues are creating problems and unwarranted delay to Permit Approvals at the District Assemblies due to the behaviour of works Engineers but they are repeated over and over again. Is the Authority not really aware of the oppositions faced by the Physical Planner? Once again good law with weak approval process loaded with old problems. Physical Planners are getting fed up with their work crowded by works Department which LUSPA doesn't seemed to understand.

Dear Sir or Madam,
i am a Geovisualistion student at University of Applied Sciences in Wuerzburg, Germany and i am searching information for a cartography project we do in our course.
My job is to find informations about the geodata procurement in Ghana. I hope you can help me with some questions.
Are there any official geodata for Ghana? Which possibilities are there to get the data? What kind of data I can find and how can I work with?

Thanks a lot

Best regards,
Manuel Goeb

I am a reporter for Goldstreet Business (Newspaper). I am following up on a story titled "Gov't reaches out to Singaporean planner to redevelop Accra", published on myjoyonline.com on 8th October, 2018. Since the core mandate of the Land and Spatial Authority is "to plan, manage and promote harmonious, sustainable and cost effective development of human settlements in the country", we wish to know what exactly went into contracting the Singaporean to redevelop Accra? Was your outfit contacted by government prior to this? And other areas, thank you. Your response is very important to us.
